Back in the day, the artists were quite limited to selling their art. There was no site to sell works of art. If you want to make your art with someone, you had to find a way to get directly, But thanks to the internet, it’s easy to share your work online.

1: Build your target audience;

Find a way to differentiate your art and find out exactly who your audience is. Differentiating yourself is the only way to stand out in the crowded art market. Not everyone who sells their artwork using conventional and time-consuming methods will be very successful. Of course, there are examples of people who are successful without distinguishing their work, but these are the exceptions. In order for you to stand out, you have to be different.

2: You are not selling art. You are selling a story. So create a story by engaging your audience first;
With a changing perspective, you need to share the story behind your creative process. An ingenious way of telling a story can change the minds of hundreds of people viewing your artwork, whether it’s life sketches, paintings, murals, or anything else. It will automatically attract more viewers and improve your fan base.

3: Be strategic about how you are going to engage them, involve them, capture their ideas, keep them coming back to increase sales.
Your strategy makes you unique. Your marketing plan appeals to the targeted niche. Your website marketing system will help build trust, show more about you and your story, filter, segment and sell your work. You’ll have to be good at making a part of it realistically.

4: Find sites where your work is in the right location. ie: don’t try to sell traditional works on a contemporary website or vice versa. Look for sites that closely match your art. Over time, the majority of viewers will search for work similar to yours. Plus, most sites have curators and recommendation teams that offer picks for the week, featured new artist lists, favorites, and more. If your work is unclear, you will not benefit from recommendations from the manager or guest manager.

Try to exhibit artworks on several social platform using social media strategy to get better response. Because no one knows that your potential buyers or viewers are going to click on the particular Online site where your artworks are not available.
