What is FAST FOOD?
Fast food is characterized by being fast, convenient and inexpensive alternatives to homemade meals, as well as being high in saturated fat, sugar, salt and calories. Although junk food can satisfy your hunger, it provides very little nutrition. Consistently consuming malnourished foods will make your appetite for more nutritious foods too small, increasing your risk of nutritional deficiencies. What you eat and drink every day will affect your physical and mental health. Good nutrition and regular exercise will help you maintain a hea8lthy weight while reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease. However, regular consumption of fast food and junk food can affect your health and negatively affect your body.
Effect of fast food on our health;
1: Fast foods like hamburgers, fries, and shakes are often high in fat, fast foods are often high in calories. Most of them often make you feel full and lack energy.
2: Eating fast food can cause skin problems like acne. Not chocolate or frying ingredients, but empty carbs like simple sugars, white flour, and French fries will make your look pale
3: High calories in fast food are accompanied by low nutrients. If you consume too much, your body will start to lack the nutrients needed for normal functioning. Your body is temporarily full of empty food without nutrients, so even if you eat a lot of calories, you will not be full for a long time.
4: Regular intake of soft drinks can lead to poor oral health. Drinking a lot of soda will increase the amount of acid in the mouth, which will eventually lead to tooth decay and tooth decay.
5: Dietary fiber (usually found in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, and seeds) plays a leading role in the digestive system. Fiber helps your digestive tract work properly by removing waste from the body. It can help lower cholesterol and keep blood sugar levels normal. Unfortunately, most fast foods are not high in dietary fiber and this will lead to constipation.
