Cohabitation before marriage isn’t a bad idea but the answer to this question may vary based on your background. There are many factors that affect your idea of whether or not to live together. Love isn’t enough reason to pack into same apartment and let remember that living together before marriage is effective for one couple does not necessarily mean that it is effective for all couples.

Living together before marriage naturally means that a couple is in the same bed before marriage, which violates the religious prohibition of premarital sex. As the dominance of religious norms in the culture becomes less important and adherence to them becomes more flexible, the social family shame surrounding living together has decreased significantly, while its acceptance has increased dramatically. Other reasons for the increased coexistence rate are more practical. For example, couples often use financial benefits (shared rent, utility bills etc.) as reasons for living together.

However, the most common reason couples decide to live together before marriage is to test their long-term compatibility, especially when it comes to marriage. Both men and women who grew up as a result of divorce began to view cohabitation as a low-risk, low-cost way to test marital relationships and avoid parental traps.

However, it should be noted here that although there may be new evidence that cohabitation is harmless to the stability of the marriage, there is no evidence that it helps. It may not increase your chances of divorce, but it will not reduce them at all.

One of the risks of living together before marriage is the possibility of losing relationships with close people who do not agree with your choice. When discussing with your partner, consider the possibility of it happening. However, this may not be suitable for everyone. For some people, this may clarify who deserves to be around you; It can brighten the life you want. For others, the possibility of losing contact with close friends or family members is too irregular to swallow; it is certainly not worth living together before marriage.

Maybe you have dated for several years and you are considering working together as the next step in intimacy with your partner. By following this step, you can really deepen and can improve your relationship. Maybe or maybe not. In conclusion, if you want to wait before getting married, why don’t you be patient before moving? Objectively, it does not affect the chances of an happy marital life and longevity. Subjectively, it greatly reinforces the transformative weight of consciousness intended to fuse two lives into one. It a different thing to say “I do” and you’ll return to the same apartment you’ve been sharing for so long, and another thing take the bride to a new residence, new life.

It is a breaking news that twitter , one of the most popular social media apps in the world is not working in Nigeria. This comes as a shocker days after the President – Muhammed Buhari’s tweet was deleted.

By Saturday morning, BBC correspondents in Lagos and Abuja had reported being unable to connect to Twitter via the country’s two main phone networks, MTN and Airtel. Others have been impacted as well. Access was still accessible through select wi-fi providers, although this is not a usual means for Nigerians to connect to the internet.

According to the internet tracking site Trendsmap, search phrases like “VPN” became popular overnight. A VPN – or Virtual Private Network – connection makes it look as though the user is connecting to the internet from another nation, and has been used to circumvent similar restrictions in other nations.

why was the tweet deleted?

The government’s action occurred only days after President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet was deleted for violating the site’s regulations, however no mention of this was made in the statement. Mr Lai Mohammed has previously criticized the decision by the US social media company to remove it, calling it “double standards.”

Buhari’s tweet on June 1 linked to the 1967-1970 Nigerian Civil War and urged him to address “those misbehaving now” in “the language they would understand.” At the time, a Twitter official stated that the message “violated the Twitter Rules.” The government’s action occurred only days after President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet was deleted for violating the site’s regulations, however no mention of this was made in the statement.

Facebook also did the same by banning the post made by the official page of the Nigerian President. Due to these actions, the government decided to ban twitter henceforth requesting all mobile networks to blacklist the twitter domain from access in Nigeria

It started from MTN and Airtel, then GLO AND 9MOBILE also followed suit.

Does it seem difficult to connect AKAI MPK MINI to your IOS device ? then this tutorial will help you do just that no matter the difficulty. I have covered all the error scenarios in this post. Once you have your IOS device; iPhone or iPad,  get the right accessory as described in this video and you are all good to go. There are two types of USB 3.0 connector, the one with the charging port and the other is without. Never waste a moment of inspiration, once you are inspired musically, just bring out your midi controller and connect them. Keep creating.

So there you have it, this is all what you need to be on the go in terms of mobile production, your iPhone and the AKAI MPK MINI midi controller. I always advocate for starting small and starting with what you have and this is a good way to start with what you have making music so that you don’t always need your laptop or the MacBook every time when you are inspired.

I am writing this post as a result of the research I carried out recently from the able recognized body dealing with corrupt practices in over 180 countries. Corrupt practices in Nigeria started as far back as 1975. The 1975 Nigerian coup d’état was a bloodless military coup which took place in Nigeria on 29 July 1975 when a faction of junior Armed Forces officers overthrew General Yakubu Gowon (who himself took power in the 1966 counter-coup). Obasanjo succeeded him as head of state.

Data extracted from Transparency International on Nigeria’s Corruption Index

I have taken time to plot this chart here above to show you what the statistics of corrupt practices in Nigeria looks like with reference to the index. From the image above, you see Rank, Score and Countries. The Rank and countries are related. For example in 2020, Nigeria ranked 149/180. This means out of the 180 countries that were examined, Nigeria came 149th position which is an AWEFUL 82.7% corrupt. The score here is ranked /100 % ; so for 2020, Nigeria had 25/100. If I had a child who brings this result home, the child is grounded for sure.

Yet, you hear statements like this:

If a child fails in the class, won’t the class teacher ask him to repeat?

Unfortunately, this is the narrative in Nigeria right now, where the ruling class as not ashamed of repeating terms and doing even worse than the previous term.

Explanation of the Chart

If you look at this chart properly, sometimes it will feel like Nigeria improved in a certain year than the previous but when compared to the number of countries for that year, then the result is fairly the same or even worse. For example, between 2014 and 2015, you have the same rank score of 136 which will seem like nothing happened , but compare the figures below, you see an increase from 77.7% to 80%

136 / 175 = 77.7 % – 2014

136 / 168 = 80% – 2015

This also applies to the score as well in the corrupt practices in Nigeria. All the scores range between 24 to 28. It is safe to say that

24 < = score < = 28

In summary, the corrupt practices in Nigeria is not improving at all, rather it is getting worse especially under the Muhammed Buhari Administration since 2015 till date. From ASSU strikes to fuel pump price increase; a whole lot of other issues including insecurity; THE COUNTRY AND ITS ADMINISTRATION HAS FAILED
