Immigration is one of the juices life has got in it. The wonderful feeling of people moving from place to place by every means of transportation is second to none. Nigeria is a blessed country with untapped and unutilized natural resources coupled with unfavourable government policy, which has waved a red flag to foreign investors.

There are several reasons for travelling out of the country, study, tourism, job opportunities, permanent relocation. I believe all other reasons are encapsulated in these. Whatever the reasons are, it is imperative one leave the nation following the legal and right path.

On the flip side, travelling outside the country has its cons and prone. We will try to focus on the positive side of it. They include

    1. Improve communication and social skills: One of the good sides of travelling is the improved shift in the way we express ourselves in all facet of communication. Apart from the fact that it brings about a good alignment in language proficiency, it also affects the line of thinking.
    2. Broaden the horizon: It is quite phenomenal how exposure to cutting edge technologies can ‘shapen’ one’s ideas and realities of life.
    3. Self re-discovery: Getting exposed, as earlier said, helps you re-discover yourself in a more safe, comfortable and friendly environment. A lot of people wallow in self-delusion and cannot find their way out of it. Some need to be cut the slack on their self-delusion, as it is induced by parental upbringing and environment.
    4. Quality Education: It is no news that life as a student in Nigeria could be miserable, as we deal with dilapidated infrastructures, poor teaching aids and “Not everyone is expected to pass the course” lecturers. On the other side of the world, it is a different ball game entirely. The facilities are world-class with success-oriented lecturers.

These are the few advantages of leaving the country to a “greener pasture”

    Self-Awareness

What are you pretending not to know? This was perhaps the most powerful question that has been answered by @bengleib).  The answer clearly states that “all possibilities open up when we stop deceiving ourselves.”

Why don’t you do the things you know you should be doing? Life isn’t about figuring out what to do.  The real challenge is (not so) simply doing the things we know we should be doing.

What are your values and are you being true to them? Write down the 3 most important aspects of each of these areas: family, romantic relationships, friends, work, health, sex and spirituality.  These are your values.  When we don’t act congruently with what we value, symptoms of discomfort arise.

In what ways are you being perceived, that you’re not aware of? Perception is reality.  Make sure, for better or worse, you know what people think of you.

What don’t you know, that you don’t know? It’s always the obstacles that we don’t even see coming that are the biggest challenges in life.  Get in the habit of asking people that have been there and done it before for guidance

According to Jason Nasir, being able to answer these big questions will make a big impact on your life.

I hope my response helps you out Dee20

There is little you can do because each computer application has a certain percentage of power that is expected to run on for efficiency.

You’ve probably heard some people say you should drain your battery completely before charging it, or that you should keep it between 40% and 80% all the time to make it last longer. Most of these rules are outdated, applying to older nickel-based batteries. Luckily, most or all of your gadgets these days run on Lithium-Ion batteries, which are easy to take care of.

I recommend reading the manufacturers full guide on how they work, but the gist is: they last longer when you perform shallow discharges, keep them cool, and don’t leave them plugged in while they’re running at 100%. Honestly, though, batteries have a finite life no matter what, and your efforts will only go so far—so don’t stress about it.

Focus your efforts on getting better battery life out of your iPhone, Android phone, or laptop on a given charge instead—and knowing how to replace the battery when it starts dying.

Yeah, the painful part of it that when your computer freezes, you may have no other option than to reboot and there is a high tendency that you will lose any unsaved work.

    Freezes can be a

    • sign of the insufficiency of the ram
    • windows registry conflicts
    • corrupt or missing files,
    • or even spyware.

Press and hold the power button until the computer turns off, then restart it and get to work cleaning up the system so that it doesn’t freeze again.

Until you decipher the problem you may not have a handy solution to losing your unsaved files.

A relationship is a contractual mutual agreement between two parties, with the sole aim of committing continuous, intentional and consistent decision to making it work. So many ambiguities surround how an ideal relationship should be run. It is imperative to know that relationships are relative and do not nor can ever have a clone.

Your relationship is strictly restricted to you and you alone. Two relationships can never be the same. This is more reason why we should not compare our relationships with others, leading us to be intimidated.

Back to the question, communication in a relationship is key and paramount in a relationship. I honestly feel neither guy nor lady should be laden with the responsibility of making the relationship work all alone. It is quite unfair when ladies think or assume they should get the calls and attention, leaving out the way the partner feels. I am not oblivious of the fact that ladies should be shown care and attention in whatsoever the relationship is. But, the communication, I affirm, must and always be mutual. It should not be one-sided. Both parties should get the hands-on deck and make the relationship work.

As much as the guy instigates the relationship, the lady, on the other hand, must show signs of responsibility by communicating back to the received communication. Everyone deserved to be reciprocated love to.

To you, my reader, do not be on the receiving side of care and attention. Courtesy demands you always respond to whatever gesture you get.

    13 months in a year?

Yes, in fact here in Africa
There are many cultures around the world that have and follow their own calendars, which is exactly not the same as the Western Gregorian calendar. However, despite that, they abide by the rule of 12 months a year. An Ethiopian year is comprised of 13 months and is seven years behind the Gregorian calendar. In fact, Ethiopians celebrated the new millennium on September 11, 2007; this is because the Ethiopians continued with the same calendar that the Roman church amended in 525 AD. While the first 12 months have 30 days, the last month, called Pagume, has five days and six days in a leap year.

Till date, Ethiopia uses its ancient calendar, which hardly creates any inconvenience for travellers because of the calendar difference. However, most Ethiopians these days are now aware of the Gregorian calendar, and some even use both calendars interchangeably.

Ethiopia, being one of the few countries in the world, still uses its own calendar system. The country celebrates some important holidays on days that are different from the rest of the world.

If your system is 64bit, here is the best answer for you since you have the installation package. If you’re not installing from DVD start from Step 3

    • OS: Windows 10 – 64-Bit
    • CPU: Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
    • RAM: 8 GB
    • DISC DRIVE: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
    • HARD DRIVE: At least 50 GB of free space
    • VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon R9 270X
    • DirectX: DirectX 12 compatible
    • INPUT: Keyboard and mouse, dual analogue controller

    Step 1

Close all running applications. In order to install a game from a CD, it’s best to close any running programs, browsers, and apps.

    Step 2

Insert the game disc into your computer. Do so by placing the CD or DVD into your computer’s disc drive with the label face-up.

    Step 3

Click on your software after unzipping the file. Sometimes, Windows will ask you to confirm an application’s legitimacy before opening it. If this happens, click Yes to proceed with opening the installer window.

    • If the installer window doesn’t open, open Start, click the File Explorer icon, click This PC, and double-click the disc’s name below the “Devices and drives” heading.

    Step 4

Follow the on-screen instructions. Each game’s setup will vary slightly from other games, but you’ll typically have to do the following (not necessarily in order):

    • Select a setup language and click Next.
    • Select the I agree option for the terms of use, then click Next.
    • Select an installation location, then click Next.
    • Select shortcut options, then click Next.
    • Enter the game’s key, which is usually found on the back of the CD’s case or in the manual.

    Step 5

Click Install when prompted. This will begin the installation process. When it completes, you’ll see an icon appear on your desktop if you chose to create one.

    Step 6

Click Finish. Doing so will close the setup window; for some games, this will also launch the game.

Then you are readu tp play your game….
I hope this was helpful and simple enough?

Starting with football competitions between the late 90s and early 2000s. It was a football generation where the players were not concerned about fame or passion. There was more of team play, they believed Together Everyone Achieve More. I would not shy away from the fact that there were outstanding individuals; Pele, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, to mention a few, but these were focused and passion-driven to helping their team to attain success. The rivalry between teams and players was a healthy one. It moved rivals to put up better performances. AC Milan had defeated Liverpool in the UCL final before Liverpool defeat them in 2005/2006 season.

More so, players were simple in terms of lifestyle and goal celebration. There was little or no scandal amidst players. There were professionalism and game respect by all participants at all levels. Everyone respected themselves.

Another is the way players jubilate whenever they score a goal. They throw their hands in the hair accompanying it with a hop like a Kangaroo.

Football was fun and void of scandal or match-fixing, unhealthy rivalry, controversial officiating. Players played for the love of the game and necessarily not for the ads on and freebies.

The reliance on the funding has ensured that most of these countries have access to medical supplies as well as technical expertise in times like this. The defunct Healthcare systems in most developing countries have been a source of major concern to WHO, coupled with the adverse effect of corruption in most of these countries.

It simply won’t be easy for these developing countries.
