I have seen people willingly quit their jobs to start-up businesses. Some run out of it and go job hunting after a few months while some really make strides.
The question for I have for Business Owners is, Is it fulfilling to start a business when you can make the same amount of money gainfully employed?
Starting a Business? Yes, it gives Fulfilment when there is a sense of direction and it is targetted at solving a need.
The prime answer is knowing the purpose of starting that Business. If you know the why then there is bound to be a defined direction. For some people who dabble into business for freedom from working for people, there are some WHYs you have to answer if you will get fulfilment.
What’s your WHY?
If you have a big enough WHY you’ll always figure out the What and the How. If you don’t have a BIG WHY, you’ll always use the What and the How as an excuse for not doing that thing you said you were going to do.
What’s the one most important thing to get done today/ this week/month?
Write this down on a Post-it note at the beginning of each day/week, and hold yourself accountable for completing this above all other Stuff To Do. when you keep doing this, you will find that you won’t waste your time on irrelevant things…
Honestly, nothing feels more refreshing than using your time judiciously.
