The recent upsurge in accounts being hacked is really alarming. One has to verify WhatsApp business number to avoid being a victim. Scammers are using it to defraud people of their hard-earned money using the identity of the victim as leverage.

Requirements to Verify

  • You can only verify a phone number that you own. You can either use a mobile phone or a landline (fixed) number.
  • You must be able to receive phone calls or SMS to the phone number you’re trying to verify.
  • You must have all call-blocking settings, apps, or task-killers disabled.
  • If you’re verifying through your mobile phone, you must have a working Internet connection through mobile data or Wi-Fi. If you’re roaming or have a bad connection, verification may not work. Try opening https://www.whatsapp.com/business/ on your mobile phone’s Internet browser to see if you’re connected to the Internet.
  • If you’re verifying through a landline, tap Call me to request a phone call to receive your verification code.

How to verify

  1. Enter your phone number:
    • Choose your country from the drop-down list. This will automatically fill in your country code in the box on the left.
    • Enter your phone number in the box on the right. Don’t put a 0 before your phone number.
  2. Tap Next to receive a verification code. If prompted, you can also tap Call me to receive the code via phone call.
  3. Enter the 6-digit verification code you receive via SMS or phone call.
    • Note: If you have iCloud Keychain enabled and have verified this number before, you may be automatically verified without receiving a new SMS code.

Using extension numbers for landline

Landline extension numbers aren’t supported to complete the verification process. Please use a landline number without an extension to verify your phone number. For security purposes, the 6-digit verification code is only sent to the landline number that you wish to use for your business account.

If you didn’t receive the 6-digit code by SMS

  • Wait for the progress bar to finish and retry. The wait time may take up to 10 minutes.
  • Don’t guess the code or you’ll be locked out for a period of time.
  • If the timer runs out before you receive the verification code, an option will appear to request a phone call. Choose the Call me option to request the call. When you answer the call, an automated voice will tell you the 6-digit verification code. Enter this code into WhatsApp Business.
    • Note: Depending on your carrier, you may receive charges for SMS and phone calls.

Troubleshooting steps

If you’re having issues verifying, please try the following:

  1. Reboot your phone (to reboot your phone, turn it off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on).
  2. Delete and reinstall the latest version of WhatsApp Business.
  3. To check your reception, send a test SMS message from any mobile phone to the mobile phone number you’re trying to verify (enter the mobile phone number exactly as you entered it in WhatsApp Business, including the country code).
    • Note: We can’t send your verification code via other methods due to security reasons.

Its 2021, and you are a tech entrepreneur always looking to innovate right out of the box. With industries such as fintech, agrotech, insuretech, etc fast growing, there is more work for tech entrepreneurs to do, but do they have to think about politics too? Maybe

You are the CEO or owner of a tech business especially in the third world countries where the government can literally crumble your business over night and all you do is release rapid solutions that meets the demands of the eco-system in which you play. Isn’t it important for you to know someone in the government or have a backing from the government ? Here is why

For example, the popular Dangote Industries owned by the richest man in Africa Aliko Dangote is alleged to have used his influence and popularity with government officials in Nigeria to make his wealth and solidify his mark in Africa. Today, Dangote controls the entire commodity market for things like Cement, Sugar, Flour, and now crud oil to the extent that his competitors can no longer at that scale. I won’t call him a tech entrepreneur outrightly, but he sure is in this space too and know how to play his politics right.

Here is OPAY, a promising startup in Nigeria; we could go on and on with all their services from payment to hailing and riding but it all went into shambles from one law from the Lagos state in Nigeria, what a sad way to end an innovation idea.

Recently, the CBN banned fintech companies like Flutterwave, paystack from using the BVN service. They sure have their reason why they did this but did they consider what that could do to small businesses?

How about the abroad?

On the other hand, Facebook since 2018 – 2020 has been thoroughly scrutinised for its involvement in the last two elections in the USA. More and more allegations have been levied on a man who just wants to connect the world together; Mark Zuckerberg. Could we say it is because he doesn’t have anyone in government that he is facing all these issues?

To buttress this, take a study of how President Trump supported Apple all the way when he was in power. During this time, Apple never suffered any severe hit from congress so much and in-fact, most or if not all the government staff use apple products; their OS, phones, messaging service to mention but a few.

It is quite interesting how one policy, or a statement from the government can drive a tech company into extinction. This is why I advise tech entrepreneurs to get into politics or at least have friends or representative in the political class.

As a scholar of science, this article will be presented with facts and figures in an attempt to answer the question. We have been made to believe that the present Pandemic is a virus. According to MedicalnewsToday, (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/158179) viruses are microscopic organisms that exist almost everywhere on earth. They can infect animals, plants, fungi, and even bacteria. In my study of the said pandemic, I have discovered that the facts and figures presented by medical organizations worldwide are not adding up. While I’ve come across several voice notes and posts on social media trying to explain the situation, I tend to weigh them in the balance of facts and figures. After all, this is what science should be all about.

Stating the public figures, as of today, April 1st, 2020, the total number of reported cases globally is 854,608 and out of this number, 42,043 (4.91%) are dead while 176,908 (20.7%) have recovered. Considering a similar occurrence in the world at a time, talking about the Spanish flu, according to Vox (https://www.vox.com/2020/3/9/21164957/covid-19-spanish-flu-mortality-rate-death-rate), “If the frequently cited estimate of 500 million infections globally is correct, then the latter death toll implies a case fatality rate of 3.5 percent, but using a higher death toll of 50 million, the fatality rate rises to 10 percent”. SARS, another deadly virus in 2004 was estimated at less than 4% in mortality. More recently, officials have cited rates in the 6% to 7% range as seen in http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2003/05/estimates-sars-death-rates-revised-upward. These facts make corona not a deadly virus as it is being portrayed but there’s a similarity among all these viruses, the mortality rate is higher with older people than with the younger.

Now, allow me to take you deeper into the stats, consider the countries that are deeply suffering the coronavirus now, particularly look at the percentage recovery

Country Total Cases Recovered Cases Total Deaths Percentage Recovery (%)
World 854608 176908 42043 20.7
USA 186633 6913 3833 3.71
Italy 105792 15729 12428 14.80
Spain 95923 19259 8464 20.07
China 81518 76052 3305 93.29
Germany 71690 7635 775 10.65
France 52128 7991 3523 15.33
Iran 44606 14656 2898 32.86
UK 25150 135 1808 0.54
Switzerland 16597 1823 432 10.98
Belgium 12775 1696 705 13.28

Three things are evident in this table, China has the highest percentage recovery while Uk has the lowest and Italy has recorded the most deaths. Why? MAYBE CORONA IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK. MAYBE IT IS THE EFFECT OF 5G PLAYING OUT. China championed the research, implementation and installation of 5G. Currently, if your phone uses 4G, the frequency band of the radio waves it employs is anywhere from 2 – 8 GHz. This is a slightly higher frequency than 1.8 – 2.5 GHz for 3G (and can be slightly different, depending on your region)(https://www.sciencealert.com/why-are-people-so-scared-of-5g)

One of the reasons people are so worried about 5G is that the new network can support frequencies of up to 300 GHz. These higher frequencies are called ‘millimeter wavelengths’ because they are between 1 and 10 millimeters in width. For the records, the proof behind this is that China was the first to have 100,000 5G towers and this is why the Wuhan popular was the first to be affected (https://thetab.com/uk/2020/03/16/the-coronavirus-5g-conspiracy-147871). Although the Public Health England has said that there’s no ‘convincing evidence’ that exposure below the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation guidelines can cause adverse health effects. These guidelines go up to 300GHz, whereas the maximum for 5G will probably only be in the tens of GHz but considering the countries in the table listed above, these are the early adopters of 5G installation. See this for more evidence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5G#Availability). Italy, on the other hand, has recorded more death because they have an older population as shown in the stats below from (https://www.statista.com/statistics/765603/elderly-population-in-italy-by-age-group/)

The UK also launched 5G fully with SKY MOBILE. While countries like the USA disallowed Huawei the tech giant at the forefront of the installation because of data theft and espionage (but still got it installed with the likes of AT&T and Verizon), the UK openly embraced Huawei’s equipment and thus they launched it first in the west.

My Opinion

China, having studied the 5G network and have seen the adverse effect and what would eventually become a global concern decided to shift the attention of the world from 5G to a subtle virus. It takes about 6 months for the effect of the radiation caused by the radio waves from 5G to take effect on our bodies; 5G installation started late 2019 towards the second half of the year which is more than 6 months already. Therefore China secretly developed a small virus that is respiratory and the cure so that when the Chinese people start dying, they only have to administer the cure as evident in the stats above (93.29% recovery). In boosting their economic powers and empathy image, they can also ship out the cure to the rest of the globe. Warmer seasons are coming soon and when that happens, I believe this virus will die naturally, as seen from analysis that the COVID-19 cannot survive hot weather conditions. (https://www.theyucatantimes.com/2020/03/coronavirus-does-not-survive-more-than-4-minutes-in-the-heat-gubio-soares/). The people that are dying in these other countries are the ones whose immune systems cannot withstand the effect of the radiation caused by 5G. It’s a game of survival of the fittest. The ones that recover now would be fit for the next generation of 5G emergence.

The test kit and Vaccine

The test kit being distributed today I believe is not the proper test for the COVID-19 virus. Here is why; the most prominent symptom of the test is the common cold which is the evident symptom of every coronavirus. Coronaviruses are types of viruses that typically affect the respiratory tracts of birds and mammals, including humans. Doctors associate them with the common cold, bronchitis, pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), and COVID-19. They can also affect the gut (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/256521). That said, I believe when an individual is positive from the test, the first point of guess is the common cold, this is why one can test positive one day and the next day, negative as evident in some of the cases we have heard already. The vaccine on the other hand is being developed and news updates say that the likes of Bill Gates are strongly behind its development. My utmost concern is that …

Will the vaccine be something that will strengthen our anti-bodies to fight more the effect of 5G radiation or will it be something to strengthen the 5G to work effectively amongst us?

MY THOUGHTS….

A merger is a business strategy that is used to join two business together and acts as a single legal entity. Companies that accept mergers are generally equal in size and operating scale. This is a strategy that companies adopt to expand their production and marketing activities and maximize growth, providing synergistic growth in their customer base, less competition, and the introduction of new markets etc.

TYPES OF MERGER

1: HORIZONTAL MERGER:
An horizontal merger is a business consolidation that occurs between companies operating in the same industry.
Horizontal mergers are common in industries where there are fewer companies because the companies merging in these industries are more synergistic and the potential benefits of market share is much greater. Yes For example, the merger of the Coca-Cola and Pepsi beverage divisions is essentially horizontal. The goal of horizontal mergers is to create new, larger organizations with greater market share. Since the business operations of the merged companies may be very similar, there may be opportunities to reduce costs by participating in specific businesses such as manufacturing.

2: VERTICAL MERGER:
A merger between two companies that produce different goods and services toward the production of some final product.  Vertical mergers occur when multiple companies operating at different levels within an industrial supply chain work together. Vertical merger can improve efficiency by synchronizing production and supply between the two companies and ensuring that supplies are reliably available when needed. For example, a computer company may merge with a supplier of important electronic components. These mergers will help them cope with their competitors. By making it difficult for competitors to obtain critical supplies, it can weaken existing competitors and increase barriers to entry for new ones.

3: CONGLOMERATE MERGER:
Conglomerate merger is simply a merger between companies that are engaged in completely unrelated business activities. These mergers usually occur between companies in different industries or between companies in different geographic locations. Their businesses do not overlap or compete with each other. However, they see the benefits of joining the company. This type of merger has two additional categories: pure and mixed. When talking about the merger of pure conglomerates, we are talking about two companies with no crossovers in the market at all. Conversely, a mixed conglomerate merger is when two companies merge to expand a market, product, service.

4: CONCENTRIC MERGER:
A concentric merger is when both companies have the same customers in a particular industry but offer different products and services. Products or services whose mergers are considered concentric complement each other. These companies combine to create a larger product offering for one business, thus enabling both companies to take advantage of a larger market share.
For example: Let’s say Company A sells home office printers. it makes sense to merge with a company that produces ink and paper. The same customer not only buys all the products, but also at the same time. Therefore, if a larger printer company owns a paper and ink company, all the companies involved can work together to make a profit.

These are the 4 main common types of BUSINESS MERGERS, there are others but these are the commonly used ones.
A merger is a business strategy that is used to join two business together and acts as a single legal entity. Companies that accept mergers are generally equal

WHY DO BUSINESS MERGE?

The most common factor is the growth potential of the business. Business mergers can give the acquiring company the opportunity to expand its market share. Restructuring can reduce the impact of certain industries on a company’s profitability. To reduce tax liability, a business that generates significant taxable income may consider merging with a business with significant tax losses. Consolidation between companies will eliminate competition between them, thereby reducing the advertised price of the product. In addition, the discount will benefit customers and ultimately increase sales. The collective finances of the merged companies will be much more and their use may be better than if they are operating separately. It may happen that one of the incorporated companies has a short gestation period while the other has a longer gestation period.
